The book I chose was Monster, by Walter Dean Myers. The book is about a 16 year old named Steve Harmon. Steve is on trial for felony murder. He is here because two criminals framed him, or so he says. He must fight in the courtroom to prove his innocence and protect the rest of his life from being sent behind bars. The book is written as a screenplay that Steve has titled "Monster." The book also includes a journal that Steve was given where he can express all of his feelings.
